I love it when other people steal your ideas and then sell them like it's their own.

No, I don't own House MD, but I DID coin the "Wake up and smell the Vicodin" phrase that I used on my wallpaper I submitted here a while back. Naturally it was taken off because it had screencaps from the show in it.

And now I found out that other people took not only the phrase, (which doesn't bother me so much because it was just funny little wallpaper I made on the train to school one day) but the lazy jerks didn't even bother to TRY making their own typesetting or fonts or anything. They just took the work I had and slopped it on mugs, t-shirts, mousepads, you name it. No credit or anything. Nope. >

Am I wrong in being annoyed? Probably. It's not like I trademarked it or anything. But no one intends for other people to market from things they do.

I mean, what the heck, man? Not cool. I still have the original photoshop file ([link]), but I'm not going to claim anything. Just leave some angry comments on their pages about how they should try to market on their own creativity. It just makes me feel better. Hmph. >
